Initial consultations and Post-training follow-ups are included without additional fees when arranging a Core Training at your site.

Room Readiness

Preparing the environment for Godly Play is so special and important, we offer a lot of support options for room readiness!

Room Consultation: The Godly Play process and training relies on a specific prepared environment. A Godly Play room needs to be equipped with the core lessons and should be appropriately organized and in good order for all levels of training. In preparation for a training, a host may wish to have a trainer to do a room consultation either in person or via zoom. ($100/hour, + travel and accommodation expenses, if travel is required)

Room Preparation Workshop: This workshop is extremely helpful for those interested in setting up a Godly Play room. Using video of Di’s well equipped and completely outfitted room in Oakland, the trainer walks through the story of a room-from the essential lessons, the lay out, to the overall effect of creating a space that is for children and centers their experience. (2 hours, zoom,$200)

Room Set Up: If a trainer is required to set up a room for training purposes, or arrives to a room that needs significant rearranging/organizing to be used for a scheduled training, the trainer will bill for additional hours spent doing this work. ($100/hour)

Getting Started Consultation

The first step in setting up a training is an initial phone consultation with a trainer to meet you and talk through what is needed. This call is to set up the training and make sure all is in order. If what’s needed is more support and consultation, see below. (No additional fee, included in Core Training fee)

Godly Play Support Consultation

If you need support for your program or need consultation related to issues coming up in your Godly Play practice, trainers are able to offer consultation services at our hourly rate. For support via one-on-one meetings or small sessions with your volunteers or staff, trainers create a plan and bill accordingly. ($100/hour)
